I mean, you need to use MORE of your body, to change your body, to reduce pain and to gain more of your life back.

My Personal Training Philosophy

I believe in training the body through integrated movement patterns that serve your life OUTSIDE of training by teaching the body how to work BETTER.

We’ll use sandbags, kettlebells, TRX straps, dumbbells and resistance bands to perform exercises that mimic the natural movements of the body to elevate what we do in daily life and sport.

Exercise machines require less stability and you lose out on stabilizing muscle activation and the real-world benefits.

Training the body for both function and cosmetic goals shouldn’t be different types of training!

Moving the body in different planes of motion (directions) helps us tap into true integration.

The muscles get a chance to do what they are designed to do:

produce force to help create movement AND resist unwanted forces to stabilize and reduce risk of injury.

It’s never too late to feel amazing!

What all of this means is- you’ll avoid the typical aches and pains, improve your flexibility, core strength, endurance, gain REAL WORLD strength & look good doing it!

My start in fitness

I graduated from NYU with my Bachelor’s in Psychology & Northeastern University with my Master’s in Counseling Psychology. I taught Group Exercise part time in between classes to stay fit and mentally sharp.

After three years of a professional career in psychology, I realized that my true passion was health & fitness. I decided to switch gears into a career where I would be able to truly support clients in a more holistic manner, as they made meaningful and lasting changes in their lives.

20 Years later you’ll find me training & coaching clients at my in-home studio, continuing my education with the latest in exercise science & hanging with my hubby Jeff and our dogs, Annie and Penny.
